Meet The Team

John is the co-founder and CEO of Commodore Partners. He completed his undergraduate degree at Montclair State University and was the captain of the wrestling team. John started his career in education and pursued his MA in Educational Leadership. After many years of teaching, he realized he wanted to follow his competitive spirit and pursue a new career. He began his recruiting career with a small firm, and quickly realized his passion for entrepreneurship and helping others were uniquely intertwined in this new role. After building a solid book of business from the ground up, he co-founded Commodore Partners in 2013 with the hopes of building a better contingency recruiting company – one that clients and candidates could rely on as a trusted partner.
John continues to lead the strategic initiatives of the firm while staying on the front lines with customers daily. He lives in Monmouth County, NJ with his beautiful wife and 2 children. They love spending time at the beach and riding skateboards in the driveway.

Jessica started her career in Los Angeles working in the entertainment industry. She partnered with actors, directors, writers, and producers to develop many high-profile projects. She then
took her knowledge of working with talent to Commodore and throughout her 5+ years of recruiting, she has enjoyed placing candidates in their dream jobs, managing accounts and leading an amazing team of recruiters. Jessica currently lives in NJ and is a graduate of the The University of Florida (Go Gators!)

Jen started her career in corporate sales and eventually found her niche in recruiting. She worked for over 5 years at a F500 firm where she led the spinoff and implementation of a new LOB, led a team of recruiters, and successfully placed over 200 candidates in a multitude of industries from staff to executive levels. Now Jen’s passion is in leadership, helping others accomplish their career goals and contribute to the continued growth at Commodore Partners!

Halfway through her trip around Scotland Jen and her husband went rouge, bought a tent and camped for 7 days!

Matt is coming from the beaches of the Jersey Shore where he grew up and still resides. Matt spent some time in North Carolina as he graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Exercise Physiology in 2017. He enjoys playing golf, hanging by the beach, and relaxing with his family/friends. A fun fact about Matt is that he has had 4 ACL surgeries from soccer injuries, so has tried to make the transition to coaching although he still laces up the boots from time to time. He loves working at Commodore because of the welcoming environment, and opportunity to grow! Matt is always ready to spark a laugh and lighten the mood, how ya doin?!
